This June, summer solstice weekend - June 20, 21, & 22, 2008 marks the 15th anniversary of the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, an annual world peace and summer solstice celebration. The event takes place in the picturesque Anderson Valley of Boonville, California at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds located 35 minutes west of Ukiah.
The festival organizer, Epiphany Artists has announced the preliminary lineup of artists with many to be added over the coming weeks. Some of the world's greatest world, roots, vintage, dancehall, and modern reggae, ska artists and sound system DJ's have made their appearances on the Sierra Nevada stages and in the dancehall over the years. Many of these artists make their debut festival appearances at this hallmark event.

Buju Banton, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Maldita Vecindad, The Mighty Diamonds, The Wailing Souls, Midnite, Sister Carol, U Roy, Tosh Meets Marley, Cornel Campbell, Prezident Brown, Yami Bolo, David Rodigan, Stone Love, Markus James, Stranger Cole, Roy Shirley, Pat Kelly, Asheba, Alika, Quinto Sol. Rootz Underground, Extra Golden and Taj Weekes & Adowa.
Special guests: Namkha Rinpoche from Tibet & Clayton Duncan from the Pomo Native American Nation
