Sierra Nevada World Music Festival 2008, Celebrating 15 Years!

Created by Epiphany Artists as an annual world peace and summer solstice celebration in the Sierra Nevada mountain region, the 15th Sierra Nevada World Music Festival takes place for the third year in the scenic Anderson Valley at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds in Boonville, California on June 20, 21, & 22, 2008.

Unfolding over three days on two stages and in the late night dance hall, the following is the current lineup as of April 30th. Please visit www.snwmf.com for artist bios and sound samples as well as additional artists to be added in the coming weeks.

FESTIVAL DETAILS:

The event takes place at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds, 14480 Highway 128, Boonville, California, 95415, just 35 minutes West of Ukiah. Three day tickets are available now for $135 through mail order at www.snwmf.com/tickets.html and at the Independent Ticket outlets listed at www.snwmf.com/ticketoutlets.html. Camping passes are available by mail order and at select ticket outlets for $50, with one ticket required per vehicle. Single day tickets will be available in the weeks closer to the event at the ticket outlets and at the gate.

FESTIVAL HOURS:

Camping gate opens at 9am on Friday 6/20
Gates open 5pm 6/20 music from 6pm to 2:30am
Gates open 10am 6/21 music from 11am-2:30am
Gates open 10 am 6/22 music from 11am-10pm
